About the event
How do pastoral nomads, who live with the maxim, "Everyday uncertainty is a certainty", come to be perceived as "primitive"? Having lived resilient lives with a near-zero carbon footprint, why do they need to be brought into the "mainstream"? The Living Lightly film festival showcases a bouquet of handpicked films from different parts of the world that gets us to reflect upon our own notions of sustainability, resilience and frugality through the lens of a fast-changing way of life. The nomadic pastoralists!
