About the event
The Utsav will commence with an inaugural ceremony led by the Honorable Minister for Animal Husbandry and Sericulture, Shri K. Venkatesh. This special event will bring together pastoralists from across the Deccan region and the wider country, providing them with a platform to share their rich traditions, unique performances, and valuable knowledge of pastoral heritage.
A highlight of the inauguration will be the release of High Bred: Pastoral Breeds of India by the Honorable Minister. This remarkable book celebrates the resilient and diverse animal breeds meticulously developed and nurtured by India’s pastoral communities over generations.
