About the event
The bazaar space, integral to the Living Lightly Utsav will bring together a thoughtfully curated marketplace, showcasing the rich pastoral crafts of India. A chance to discover the Deccan pastoral aesthetics and values, and engage with pastoral artisans from varied geographies that work magic with desi oon in the form of weaves & wearables. The nuances of pastoral embroidery traditions from various regions come together at the Bazaar, there are products made from leather, dung and fodder.
The community studios are part of the bazaar and offer a glimpse into the act of making, and the workshops over weekends are a chance to learn from the pastoralists!
